ive been looking for a vidoe like this since 07. good job. if i was the same man i was 2 years ago id say good shit! but im not since im a bit more mature
The biggest problem with Lighter fluid is some of your back yard chefs don’t use patience with LF.
that looks so good, man…. :o~~~
LF, if used correctly, is completely safe to use. The debate on the subject of LF vs Chimney gets boring after awhile….. Go with what inspires you to make great barbecue! -BBQ Pit Boys
That makes sense but in the video he is putting something that looks like lighter fluid (1:40 min ) on the coals where he says at a comment below that you don’t use lighter fluid. I don’t know what else the liquid is.
Use a charcoal chimney with newspaper under to get the charcoal going.
If you don’t use lighter fluid, what are you putting on your briquettes before lighting them in your videos?
I’d think that a 400 to 450 degree temp would burn off any taste of soap.
I just had dinner….and now Im hungry again becuase i watched this video! ahha
If you know anything about BBQing you don’t use lighter fluid or matchlight.
in Internet years it probably does work out to be that long
you say that you dont want to wash your grill because of the soap taste, but what about the lighter fluid? wouldnt that leave a stronger taste than the soap?still you guys do a good job keep it up
Split chickens are going down this weekend.
The BBQ Pit Boys changed the way I cooked for good. As a college student, I sometimes have no choice but to eat that frozen food garbage sometimes. But now I’m eating wholesome, old-time-style food. Thanks fellas.

I love my Weber! Knew I wanted one, but never really knew why until I found these videos.. I wish mine was as tricked out as that one, though..
I did get the chimney as a requested Christmas present, and man, is it ever great.
